Each season on Ten Movies we pick one actor and watch ten of their most iconic movies – one movie per episode. In theory, this leads us to startling insights about the actor, their persona, their work and what their films tell us about the dark quotidien heart of America. In practice, we spend a lot of time either complaining about bad movies or saying things like “Oh, remember that one bit with that guy who was in that show?”

In previous seasons we watched ten movies from Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey and Keanu Reeves. Note that the Ten Movies podcast used to be on a different feed, so while you can find our past seasons on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher and wherever fine podcasts are sold, we’re at a new home starting with our new Dwayne Johnson season. We hope to move past episodes over at some point, when the Ten Movies interns have some free time, but for now you’ll have to look around a bit.
